Our Profiles

Martyn Worsfold is a director of Ipswich Home Loans and was born and raised in England. He is an accredited member of the Mortgage Industry Association of Australia (MIAA) and has completed a Diploma of Financial Advising.

Martyn has always worked within the finance industry and was employed for nine years by HSBC Global Investment Services, in London, one of the world’s largest financial markets.

Then recruited by Fidelity Investments, the world’s largest independently owned Fund Management company Martyn was Assistant Manager within investment administration for three years, and was responsible for signing off corporate actions in excess of $100 million USD on a daily basis.

After moving to Australia permanently in 2002, Martyn embarked on a career in mortgage broking with Mortgage Choice, Ipswich. During the initial two week training course in Sydney, he ranked in the top 5% of all participants to have ever taken the course.

Billie Worsfold is a director of Ipswich Home Loans. Most of her formative years were spent in Toowoomba prior to moving to London, to enjoy overseas travel.

Billie’s role within the business encompasses office management and marketing.

Billie’s career in finance began after being recruited by HSBC Global Investment Services as a UK Settlements Officer settling equity trades dealt on the London Stock Exchange.

Four and a half years later Billie accepted an offer to work at Barclays Capital Securities, London as an International Settlements Officer where she liaised with brokers, clients and counterparties worldwide on a daily basis, and was responsible for settlement of equity trades up to USD 500,000,000.


Together Martyn and Billie have a combined 22 years in the banking and finance industry, so you can rest assured they have the the experience and knowledge to assist you, whatever your goals are!
